Northwestern Plastic Surgery Hosts “BRA Day 2014”

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Northwestern Plastic Surgery hosted “BRA Day”, or Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day, on October 9, 2014.

Post-mastectomy breast reconstruction represents one of the final stages in breast cancer treatment for women, and so it is referred to as “closing the loop on breast cancer”.

To celebrate closing the loop, Dr. Kim and his partners at Northwestern Plastics hosted an educational seminar, physician Q&A, and cocktail reception for the office staff and patients. It was a wonderful event at which patients learned about the newest technologies and procedures available, shared their stories with other patients, and better got to know the excellent staff.

Dr. Kim’s and Northwestern Plastics’ first annual “BRA Day” was a great success, and he looks forward to hosting again in the years to come.
